The Zombie Effect on Positive Thinkers vs. Negative Thinkers

By Larry Gotterer

Zombies are everywhere. Some are still alive. They often look mindlessly into your eyes, offer nothing coherent to say, or wander the streets of cities trying to eat people. You may even have friends, relatives, or a significant other who are zombies. Perhaps you’ve given birth to what initially looked like a human, but it ultimately transformed into a zombie.

Believe it or not, many zombies were once positive thinkers. And boy are they disappointed. No matter what the situation, it’s never the end of the world for them. Then, when they burn out over time from hitting new lows after their high hopes continuously go up in flames, welcome to Zombieland!

On the other hand, pessimists are programmed to overcome the apocalypse multiple times per day, so fewer things faze them. When things go wrong it’s no big deal because they expected less. Consequently, there are greater numbers of happier negative-thinking zombies than positive-thinking zombies. It is believed that these thought-provoking observations also apply to real people.

Are you a disillusioned optimist or zombie who’s having negative thoughts about positive thinking? Do you consider yourself to be a wannabe or practicing pessimist who wants better outcomes from worst-case scenarios? Either way, discover how you can Find Happiness through Negative Thinking.
