The Inside of Your Head Is a Jungle of Thoughts

By Larry Gotterer

It’s easier for thoughts to get into your head than it is for them to get out. That seems hard to believe, especially since skulls are the same thickness to penetrate going either direction.

So what can you do when it feels like dinosaurs are running wild and wreaking havoc through your thought jungle? There’s nothing positive about that scenario, so consider an escape plan that’s brain-powered by negative thinking.

This would be much easier if you could just pop over to the office of a local geneticist and have a Houdini Gene added to your body. Unfortunately, we’re at least 10 years away from that kind of technology. The good news is that a well-trained pessimist can see everything that could possibly go wrong in any situation and be able to plan for it more productively.

Like any safari, a guide is always recommended. Since it probably isn’t easy for an outsider to get inside your head, the next best guide is the humor book, Find Happiness through Negative Thinking.
